UEFA Europa League

We have all heard the sad news for the Arsenal fans yesterday about the 4-1 loss to Chelsea in the Europa League finals. To be honest, by looking at the stats, it was an all out even match between these two London sides exept for the shots in which Chelsea had 8 to Arsenal having only 2 shots on goal. The possession was very close coming in at Arsenal with exactly 50% and Chelsea with 50%.  Yellow cards was only given to Chelsea, they had two and Arsenal had none. Then Arsenal conceded a penalty in which Eden Hazard smashed into the goal. Then in the corners, Chelsea had 7 while Arsenal had only 5. Then in foul wise Chelsea had a stunning 14 fouls on Arsenals only 11.For Chelsea's keeper, Kepa he only have one save the entire match while Arsenal's keeper had 4 save the whole match. We found Arsenal's tactic yesterday and that was crosses. Arsenal had 14 crosses and Chelsea only had 7. Then offsides, Chelsea had one while Arsenal had 3. Looking at those stats, Chelsea was a much better team. 2 goals from Eden Hazard (who is heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid) one from Pedro and one from Olivier Giroud. Then Arsenals only goal was from Alex Iwobi.  We are going to see Arsenal next season in the Europa League again and we are going to see Chelsea play in the Champions League with Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham. Arsenal are also going to play in the Europa League with Manchester United and potentially Wolverhampton Wanderers. That was all for today, come back soon to read about my next article about the UEFA Champions League on June 1.

Real Madrid's 2019-20 Season Rebuild

I'm sure we are all aware of Real Madrid's misfortune in the 2018-19 season not only in the La Liga, but as well as the UEFA Champions League. A ton of Real Madrid fans claim it is because of the superstar Cristiano Ronaldo leaving for Juventus, and they lack a true manager. In the previous season, (2017-18) Zinadene Zidane has left Real Madrid then returned after Real's loss against Ajax in the Champions League. As you read in the title, Zidane is planning to start a rebuild of Real Madrid in this season starting with a signing of a Right/Center Back Eder Militao from FC Porto for $45M. That is their only signing in this summer transfer window so far. They are also in the race for Chelsea's Eden Hazard. Real Madrid initially put a price tag for Hazard at around $88M this summer but Chelsea is not willing to let him go under $130M claims in Spanish Media. Hazard is one of the two attacking players Real want to sign for the rebuild. The second attacking player is Luca Jovic from Einchrat Frankfurt in Germany. The Serbian striker is young at 21 with great potential and will be a great replacement for aging Karim Benzema. The next position that Real want to rebuild is the midfield position. With Luka Modric going up in age, there has to be a replacement immediately. Just recently Luka Modric has just signed a new 1 year contract with Real Madrid. That replacement is Paul Pogba. The transfer is not confirmed yet, but he will come at a price tag at around $130M +. The reason is that Paul Pogba does not want to stay at Manchester United, so in the 2019-20 season, you will see him at a different club. The next position is Left Back. Marcelo has left Real Madrid to Juventus and Real is looking for a new Left Back. One in mind is Benjamin Mendy who had a fantastic season a Olympic Lyon. The second choice for Real Madrid is Liverpool's Andrew Robertson who had a great season with Liverpool taking them to the Champions League Finals. There has been rumors that Sergio Ramos is going to leave Real Madrid to China, but the Spanish Media claims that he is going to stay at Real Madrid. Well, that is all the news that I have so far on Real Madrid's plan to rebuild their team next season to see them have Champions League Glory. Stay tuned in this blogs tomorrow to read about my new post about FC Barcelona in their Rebuild Stages for next season.

Argentina Making Good Results With Lionel Scaloni

Argentina national soccer team is making better results with Lionel Scaloni then Jorge Sampoli. In the FIFA world cup, Jorge Sampoli was sacked. He had only won one match in the World Cup and lost to Croatia and France by 3 and 4 goals. Lionel Scaloni was named Manger of Argentina after the World Cup and he has gotten much better results. Starting off with a 3-0 win over Guatemala, a 0-0 draw against Colombia, 4-0 win over Iraq, 0-1 loss against Brazil, and a 2-0 win over Mexico twice. Now that is what i call great results. Especially great for the Argentina defense and their goalkeepers for keeping a clean sheet in all the matches with the new manager, except the match against Brazil. The Argentina Board has said they are going to keep Lionel Scaloni until the Copa America Centinario, unless he does a great job with Argentina. And another great job done by Lionel Scaloni was that Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala made their first goals for Argentina. As well as Lautaro Martinez, Roberto Pereyra, German Pezzella, and Franco Cervi made their first goals, also a few others. How do you think Argentina will do in the future games and tournaments? How do you think they will do in the 2022 FIFA World Cup? (Also, Lionel Messi may play the next World Cup for Argentina considering that he will only be 35 years old. But he will have to keep his shape and form. I think even when he is old, he will still entertain us.)

Barca Taking Liverpool Players

FC Barcelona has signed 3 players from the Liverpool side. Javier Machserano, Philippe Coutinho, and Luis Suarez. All three of them are former Liverpool players. In fact, they were stars at the English club. All of them were starters in the squad. The number of players taken by Barcelona could be risen up by one. That player who has been linked with the Catalan side is Mohammad Salah. Maybe Salah could be a Messi replacement when he gets old, but the fee will be expensive. Barca have spent almost a total of $400M on the three players, but that could easily go to $500M+ if at all they decide to sign Mohammad Salah. At that point, Barca is signing the Liverpool stars. Who's next to play for the Catalans?

Manchester City Almost Signed a Ledgend

Manchester City has placed a bid of $250M over Lionel Messi this past month. But due to all the taxes and funds, the total of Lionel Messi is over $600M! Pep Guardiola is the manager of Manchester City and he has asked Lionel Messi's father to convince Messi to join Manchester City. When the rumor spread, Pep has been asked many questions and interviewed. But Pep has denied that he tried to buy Messi. What do you think? Should Messi go or stay?

Son Heung-Min Has Avoided Military Service

Son Heung-min is South Korea's best player and Asian best player of the year 4 times. So basically, he is one of the best players in the world. But in the world cup, the President of South Korea said if Son Heung-min does not win the world cup, he will have to serve in the Military for four years. But luckily he avoided the first warning. But the president said he has to serve the military for five years! He said they have to beat Japan in the Asian finals and thank god they have beat Japan 2-1 so Son Heung-min does not have to serve the Military.

Lionel Messi:Another Broken Record

Lionel Messi the greatest player in the world, has broken another record yesterday after the incredible 8-2 win over Huesca FC. First of all, the record that was broken was that he has the European most assists in all over Europe. Why not all over the world? because the  legendary pele is the greatest player ever and he has the most goals and assists and he only played in South America, Not Europe. If Pele did play in Europe, he would have surpassed Messi, Ronaldo and Maradona. But Messi only had 148 assists on the 1st before the match, then in the match, he got 2 more assists and he became Europe's top Assister, and 2nd top scorer.

Champions League 2018-19 Season Draw

Well, they finaly drew the teams for the groups and wow, there are some great teams in one group. Like for Barcelona, they have to go against Tottenham, Inter Milan, and PSV Eindhoven. Those are some top class teams in one group. Well last season, FC Barcelona has defeated big teams like Juventus, Manchester City, and beating Roma on the second leg fixture. So, we know for a fact that Inter Milan and Tottenham will be tortured by FC Barcelona. Then we have Paris Saint Germain who have to play against Napoli and Liverpool, 2 great threats. Also we have to see Juventus play Manchester United. And then we have to see Real Madrid takle on AS Roma and finally we have to see Athletico Madrid go up against Borussia Dortmund and AS Monaco. Well, you will definitely see some very entertaining matches that you cannot look away.

NBA2K19

NBA2K19. I know this is not soccer, but I have watched the trailer of it and my gosh, I want to play that game. It is made by EA so I know it will be fun. The trailer was like FIFA's The Journey in NBA2K19. The trailer is just like Alex Hunter and his Journey. So that trailer makes me want to lay NBA2K19 more than FIFA 19. Good job EA.

Wolverhampton Wanderers. A Critical Threat to the Premier League?

Wolverhampton Wanderers, a promoted team to the Premier League. Well, yesterday, they played against Manchester City, and "wow". What a performance. Now they will play against West Ham United which has not preformed well lately. So they have a huge chance of winning. With their world class signings like Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho, Raul Jiménez, Adama Traore and their young Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves, they are a huge threat to the Premier League. If they play against other teams like they did against Manchester City, I think they have a chance of going top 5 in the League and qualifying for the Champions League.
